Thiacloprid amide

December 08, 2017
Thiacloprid is an active ingredient and is acutely toxic to insects. It acts as an agonist of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in the central nervous system.

In general four metabolites (M02, M30, M34 and M37) were detected in the residue analysis. In addition, studies have shown that the thiacloprid metabolites are persistent in soil and more water-soluble than the active ingredient itself. As a precaution, the metabolite M02 (Thiacloprid amide) is also classified as relevant for its pesticidal activity.

ASCA GmbH has successfully synthesized the metabolite Thiacloprid M02 and can offer it as a native as well as stable isotopically labelled standard.

We look forward to your inquiry.
